Dr. Bridget E. Burdick
Dr. Bridget Burdick is a 2007 graduate of The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She also earned her undergraduate degree in Zoology from The Ohio State University.
Dr. Burdick has worked at GVVH since 2001 while completing her undergraduate degree and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She is married, has 2 sons and 1 daughter, a Bullmastiff named Rocco and a Siamese mix cat named Frankie. She has a strong interest in veterinary dentistry and enjoys traveling, reading and any outdoor activities.

Dr. Devon Horne
Dr. Devon Horne is a 2005 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Dayton in 2000.
Dr. Horne lives with her husband and 2 dogs, Lola and Oliver. She has a strong interest in both soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. In her free time, Dr. Horne enjoys traveling, cooking and watching sports.
She is excited to get to know the patients and clients of the German Village Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Sara Kubera
German Village Veterinary Hospital would like to welcome Dr. Sara Kubera to our staff!
Dr. Kubera graduated from The Ohio State University in 2016. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Animal Science at the University of Findlay. She has an extensive background in veterinary medicine and has a strong interest in exotic mammals.
Dr. Kubera has a Flemish Giant rabbit named Parker, a kitty named Dunkle, and a horse named Brutus that she loves spending time with! She also enjoys horseback riding, hiking, musical theater, crafts, and traveling. She has traveled to Alaska as a veterinary assistant to help with the participants of the Kuskokwim-300 dog sled team. She now hopes to return at some point to help out as a veterinarian.
Dr. Kubera is very excited to meet and get to know all of the clients and patients at GVVH!
Stephanie joined our team in July 2015. In 2009, she graduated with an Associates degree from Columbus State in Veterinary Technology. She has worked in the animal care industry since 2008 and has a strong background in management and customer service.
Stephanie and her boyfriend have 2 dogs (Sterling and Dahlia). Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her dogs, reading, shopping, watching movies, and hiking.
Ty is a Registered Veterinary Technician and earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in 2007. He has worked at GVVH since May 2009 and has worked in the animal field around central Ohio since 2003.
Ty and his wife have a son and two dogs who are all spoiled rotten! He also enjoys reading, watching movies, and performing magic. Ty loves his career choice and likes helping pets and their owners.
Tess is a Registered Veterinary Technician who graduated from Columbus State Community College in 2011. She joined our hospital in March 2014.
She has a German Shepherd named Romeo and a cat named Zinger. She enjoys reading, playing softball and going camping.
Janet joined our hospital in April 2015. She is a senior at The Ohio State University majoring in biology and minoring in sociology. She plans to attend veterinary school after she graduates. Janet is originally from New York and loves traveling to different cities, going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends. She has two dogs (Roxy and Abbie) and three cats (Skittles, Millie and Alvin).
Shae joined our team as a veterinary assistant in September 2016. She is currently attending Columbus State Community College. She is studying Veterinary Technology and will be registering to be a vet tech when she graduates.
In her spare time, Shae loves spending most of her time with her cat, Jack and her dog, Luna. She also enjoys reading and watching movies.
Alex joined our hospital as our receptionist in November 2016. She is originally from the Cleveland area and graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Anthropological Sciences and a minor in Sociology.
Alex has an orange cat named Cheddar and two dogs, Ollie and Prim. She likes to spend her free time with family and friends, and she especially enjoys traveling, hiking, and almost any outdoor activity.
Melissa joined our hospital as a veterinary assistant in May 2017. She is currently entering her third year at Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Melissa graduated in 2013 from Simmons College in Boston, MA with her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry.
Melissa has a mastiff named Mila and a tabby kitten named Mackenzie. On her free time, she enjoys hiking, visiting her family in CT, and spending time with friends.
Kristen joined our team as a veterinary assistant in May 2017. She graduated from the Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. She will be attending the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine starting August 2017.
In her spare time, Kristen loves playing ultimate frisbee, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
